Our History
First Christian Academy was formally created by the First Baptist Church of High Springs in a general conference assembled on April 23, 2006.
Its doors officially opened in August of 2007.
In 2008, Hiz Kidz First (Preschool) and First Christian Academy (K-3) merged under the name First Christian Academy creating
​One School with
One Mission. ​
Over the past 18 years, we have grown into a ministry that serves over 500 students from eight counties and over 80 churches.

Our Vision
​We aim to graduate young men and women who think clearly and listen carefully with discernment and understanding, who reason persuasively and articulate precisely;
who are capable of evaluating their entire range of experience
in the light of the Scriptures –
possessing a Biblical worldview of all of life.

Accreditation & Memberships
First Christian Academy holds memberships in several organizations including the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), National Honor Society (NHS), and Southeastern Christian Conference Christian League (SECC).

First Christian Academy is dually accredited through Cognia (SACS) and ACSI. All members of our faculty are either ACSI or Florida State certified.
